In recent years, SAB has been committed to inviting our alumni to remain involved with the School and to physically visit us throughout the year. We have hosted open houses, cocktail receptions and even grander reunions for an array of the School's alumni. This page will provide former students with information on upcoming (as well as past) events at SAB.
Past Events
Alumni Weekend 2008
Over 100 alumni from several generations visited SAB this February during the School’s annual Alumni Weekend. Held on February 8th and 9th, the weekend included a cocktail party, NYCB performance, open house and a special documentary screening. A highlight of the Friday cocktail reception was a toast to SAB’s Andrei Kramarevsky for his many years of service to the School, after which he treated guests to a rousing rendition of “Love Me Tender.” Many guests returned on Saturday to watch advanced classes throughout the day. The weekend concluded with a special peek into SAB’s history as alumni and friends of the School gathered to watch Virginia Brooks’ documentary, Felia Doubrovska Remembered. The reunion was a wonderful time for all who attended and SAB is thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity each year.

SAB's 75th Anniversary Celebration
January of 2009 marks the start of our 75th Anniversay year. Many exciting programs and events are in the planning stages for the entire year and we are encouraging our alumni to become a part of the celebration. Please check back in the Fall of 2008 for a detailed schedule of events.
