2013 LA Workshop Faculty
Members of SAB’s permanent faculty, under the direction of Chairman of Faculty Peter Martins, will conduct the LA Workshop classes. The 2013 LA Workshop faculty will be:
Katrina Killian rose to the rank of soloist at NYCB, performing a number of principle and soloist roles in ballets by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Peter Martins. Her repertoire over a 15 year career included ballets such as Symphony in Three Movements, Tarantella, and The Sleeping Beauty. Ms. Killian joined SAB’s faculty in 1996. Click here for her full bio.

Darci Kistler, the last ballerina promoted to the rank of principle dancer by George Balanchine at New York City Ballet, was a member of the Company for 30 years (1980-2010). Her repertoire encompassed numerous leading roles in ballets by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Peter Martins, among other notable contemporary choreographers. Sheryl Ware was invited at the age of 17 by George Balanchine to join New York City Ballet. During her ten years with the company, she performed in numerous works including Symphony in C, Vienna Waltzes, Raymonda Variations, George Balanchine's The Nutcracker™, Don Quixote, and Swan Lake. She was invited by Peter Martins to join SAB's permanent faculty in 1996. Click here for her full bio.
