Corporate support at the School of American Ballet offers your organization the unique opportunity to develop the world’s next generation of classical ballet dancers. Support from Corporate Partners comes in the form of philanthropic gifts, event and public outreach sponsorships, in-kind donations, and employee matching gifts.
In appreciation of your generosity, SAB is pleased to offer a matchless range of privileges designed to deepen your company’s relationship to the School, to our community, and to those who appreciate New York’s cultural vibrancy. Customizable benefits include high-profile brand visibility, behind-the-scenes experiences, and intimate social occasions held on Lincoln Center’s campus.
SAB’s portfolio of Corporate Partners represents a cross-section of large and small businesses, both local and international, all of whom wish to align themselves with the qualities of excellence, beauty and prestige for which the School and our students are renowned.
Corporations provide essential philanthropic support of special projects such as free and subsidized ballet training, scholarships and financial aid, student wellness programs, and faculty salaries, among other programs. The School of American Ballet provides local, national, and internationally based businesses with customized, corporate sponsorship packages in exchange for annual support of SAB programs. As an example, pointe shoe maker Freed of London, Ltd. sponsors the School’s National and International Audition Tour which visits over 20 U.S. and European markets each winter.
Many companies match their employees' gifts to charitable, 501(c)(3) organizations like the School of American Ballet. These matching gifts maximize the impact of your donation in many ways. Ask your employer if they will match your contribution to SAB, and be sure to request a matching gift form.
SAB’s three annual benefit events—The Nutcracker Family Benefit in December, the Winter Ball in March, and the Workshop Performance Benefit in June—are sophisticated, celebratory evenings which also provide essential support for the School. Your corporation can help make these events successful by:
- Becoming an event lead sponsor. In exchange, SAB will place your company’s brand in front of a desirable target audience through customized, high visibility signage and crediting opportunities.
- Purchasing a benefit table as an ideal setting for employee or client entertaining.
- Making an in-kind gift of product or services for event celebrations or gift bags.
