Nutcracker Family Benefit

The School of American Ballet and New York City Ballet join together each December to co-host The Nutcracker Family Benefit. This festive family event includes a Saturday matinee performance of the holiday classic George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™ followed by lunch and a visit from Santa. The ballet performance features dozens of young students from the School who, along with the adult cast members, join party goers to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Proceeds raised by The Nutcracker Family Benefit are distributed equally to the School’s scholarship fund and NYCB’s education and outreach programs.


The 2009 Nutcracker Family Benefit will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009.
