Nutcracker Family Benefit

Julia Koch with Nutcracker cast members at the 2008 Nutcracker Family Benefit.

The School of American Ballet and New York City Ballet join together each December to co-host The Nutcracker Family Benefit. This festive family event includes a Saturday matinee performance of the holiday classic George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™ followed by lunch and a visit from Santa. The ballet performance features dozens of young students from the School who, along with the adult cast members, join party goers to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Proceeds raised by The Nutcracker Family Benefit support the School’s scholarship fund and NYCB’s education and outreach programs.

The 2014 Nutcracker Family Benefit will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m

Please note, the Nutcracker Family Benefit is sold out and tickets are no longer available for purchase. If you have any questions or would like to be placed on a waitlist, please contact the Special Events Office at 212.769.6636.
