Auditions for 6 to 10 year olds
Auditions for 6-10 year olds for the 2010-11 Winter Term are complete. The next auditions for this age group will take place in spring 2011 (for the 2011-12 Winter Term). Please return to sab.org in early 2011 to make an audition appointment.
There is a $35 audition fee for all auditions at SAB
*Applicants must be 6 years old by September 1, 2011 to audition for the 2011-12 Winter Term.
Results letters for the 2010 Spring Auditions were mailed during the week of May 31, with the final set of letters mailed on June 5. Please allow 2 weeks from this date for delivery. If your child auditioned and you have not received a results letter within 2 weeks of June 5, please send e-mail to auditions@sab.org.
Free Community Auditions in Brooklyn, Queens, Chinatown, Harlem and the Bronx will be held in May 2011. Specific dates, times and locations will be posted on sab.org in early-March. It is not necessary to make an advance appointment for Community Auditions.

- Audition dress: Girls should wear a leotard or swimsuit and boys should wear shorts and a t-shirt to the auditions. (no long pants)
- Age eligibility: Children must be 6 years old by September 1, 2010, to audition and enroll for the 2010-11 Winter Term.
- Tuition assistance is available.
- Audition results will be sent by mail to all applicants in early June.
- 2010-11 Winter Term classes begin in mid-September 2010 for 8-10 year olds and in early October for 6 & 7 year olds.
