Auditions for 11 to 18 year olds

All applicants 11-years-old and over are expected to have previous ballet training.   Winter Term auditions for this age group are held in early September. Those accepted enroll within a week.  There is a $52 application fee for these auditions.  Applicants who are between the ages of 12 and 18 are strongly encouraged to audition for SAB's five week Summer Course, as that program can be an entry point to the Winter Term.  For more information about SAB's Summer Course, visit this link.

2019 Audition for 11-18 year olds


Audition Times:
3:30 PM - 15-18 year olds
4:30 PM - 13-14 year olds
5:30 PM - 11-12 year olds

Each audition class is approximately one hour long. Applicants should arrive to the School 45 minutes prior to their audition to check-in and present proof of age.
There is a $52 (non-refundable) audition fee to attend this audition which must be paid at the time of pre-registration.   Pre-registration is required for this audition.

General Audition Information

  • All applicants must show official proof of birth at the time of the audition. Only a government issued document such as a birth certificate or passport will be acceptable as proof.
  • As a general rule, recommendation letters, photographs and resumes are not accepted at auditions.
  • All girls should bring pointe shoes to the audition.
  • Observation of auditions is not permitted
