Workshop Benefit

In our yearlong celebration of SAB’s 90th Anniversary, this year’s Workshop Benefit will showcase works of deep significance to the School: SAB founder George Balanchine’s Serenade—which also turns 90, Scènes de Ballet (Christopher Wheeldon), Tschaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 2 3rd Movement (George Balanchine), and a NEW ballet by SAB alum and Paul Taylor Dance Company resident choreographer Lauren Lovette, commissioned exclusively for the Benefit.

The energy and joy from the performance usher guests into dinner and make the evening a highlight of every ballet lover’s social calendar.

Proceeds from the Workshop Benefit are used to award scholarships and help SAB provide essential elements to the development of young artists: the finest teachers, state-of-the-art studios, wellness programs, and an on-site residence hall.

If you are unable to attend but would like to make a fully deductible contribution, please visit our donation page.

*Chairman’s Circle membership available only to new members.

The non-deductible portion of each ticket is $400. We regret that benefit tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged. Due to their fair market value, tickets and tables may not be purchased with Donor Advised Funds.

If you have any questions, please contact SAB’s Special Events Coordinator, Maddi Bitter at mbitter@sab.org.
